Cancellation of Subject

Scenario

If your subject has been successfully filed with the access provider and now you wish to cancel all the filings of that subject with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, you should proceed with the cancellation of subject.

Introduction

Cancel the subject information and all website information registered by the access provider, as well as all the information that the subject has been officially registered with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Note

  • Verify the phone number of the subject principal, the certificate number, the verification code. If you fail to pass the SMS verification, you can apply for cancellation of all websites according to Website Cancellation.
  • If there is an order in progress under this subject, you need to wait until the workflow is over before you can submit for cancellation.
  • If there is a top-level domain name that has not been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology under this subject, this domain name cannot be filed again after the cancellation is successful.
  • If the subject has a filing with other access providers, the record will also be cancelled.
  • After successful cancellation, all domain names under the subject will be treated and blocked as unrecorded domain names.
  • Once the SMS verification is completed, the order cannot be withdrawn. Please proceed with caution! If you have any questions, please contact your account manager or technical support.

Procedure

  1. Please log in to the {{channelName}} Filing System and enter the filing management page.
  2. Click on the Completed Filing List to find the subject information to be cancelled.
  3. Click on Cancel Subject button.
  4. Verify the subject information, select the reason for cancellation, and finally click on the Submit button.
  5. Proceed to SMS Verification.
  6. Wait for the bureau to review, which normally takes 3 - 5 working days. Please check the order status of My Filing Progress.
  7. If the order status is not approved by the bureau, please check the reason for the return, delete the order, and apply for cancellation again. If you have any questions, please contact your account manager or technical support.
