Issues related to bureau review phase

Questions Related to the Regulatory Review Stage

1、How long does the regulatory review take?

According to Article 12 of the “Non-operating Internet Information Service Record Management Measures”, the provincial communication management bureau should register within 20 working days after receiving the filing materials submitted by the filer if the materials are complete. If the materials are incomplete, the filing materials will not be accepted, and the filer will be notified and explained why within 20 working days. Since the regulatory review is manually, the filing time is determined by the number of filings in the bureau. Generally, it is shortest one to two working days, and does not exceed 20 working days at the longest.

2、If the filing time is too long, can I contact the bureau for early review?

3、What if the bureau returns it?

5、What if the SMS authentication fails?

Please make sure the mobile number of the person in charge of the filing can receive SMS messages (the original ICP person in charge’s mobile number needs to be verified for the access filing type). If you can receive, please resubmit it for review. After your resubmission, we will submit it to the bureau again. The bureau’s system will resend the SMS authentication. The person in charge is required to complete the SMS authentication as soon as possible within 24 hours after receiving it. Different filing types verify different persons in charge. For details, please refer to SMS Verification Guide.
