“Cybersecurity Law of the People’s Republic of China”

Article 12 The state protects the rights of citizens, legal persons and other organizations to use the network in accordance with the law, promotes widespread network access, improves the level of network services, provides a safe and convenient network service for the society, and ensures the lawful and orderly free flow of network information.
Any individual and organization using the network should abide by the constitution and the law, maintain public order, respect social morality, not endanger network security, not use the network to harm national security, honor and interests, instigate the overthrow of the state power, overthrow the socialist system, instigate the split of the country, destroy the unity of the country, propagate terrorism, extremism, propagate national hatred, national discrimination, spread violent, obscene pornographic information, fabricate, spread false information to disrupt economic order and social order, and infringe upon others’ reputation, privacy, intellectual property rights and other legitimate rights and interests activities.
Article 24 When a network operator provides network access for users, registers domain names, processes procedures for fixed telephones, mobile telephones, etc., or provides information release, instant messaging and so on, it should require users to provide real identity information when signing a contract with users or confirming the provision of services. Network operators must not provide related services to users who do not provide real identity information.
