• 【Access Provider】: Refers to the service provider who provides you with access to network resources, namely the network service access provider.

• 【Domain name registrar】: Refers to the service provider where you buy and register the domain name, and the domain name registrar of the new domain name must be the domain name registration service organization approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

• 【Domain name】: Commonly known as: “Domain name”, “Top-level domain name”, “First level domain name” in oral or documents, defined as: Second level domain name. For example: miit.gov.cn, etc.

• 【Second level domain name】: Commonly known as: “Second level domain name” in oral or documents, is defined as: “Third level domain name”. For example: beian.miit.gov.cn, etc.

• 【Domain name suffix】: Defined as: “Top level domain,” “First level domain,” common term in spoken language: “Domain suffix,” represents the symbol of the domain type.

  Examples: .com; .cn; .net; .xyz; .company; .China; .bj.cn; .gov.cn; etc., the domain name for new record filing must be a suffix approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (except for Beijing region), and the approval inquiry website is: http://domain.miit.gov.cn/.

• 【Domain prefix】: Refers to the custom part of the top-level domain name that is removed in spoken language apart from the domain suffix. For example, the domain prefix of abc.cn is abc.

• 【Homepage address】: The website homepage address must include the domain name for record filing, and can only start with www., the standard format is: console.ucloud-global.com.

• 【Domain name real-name authentication】: From January 1, 2018, when applying for filing, the subject’s name, subject’s document type, and subject’s document number that are filled in must be completely consistent with the domain name registrant’s name, domain name registrant’s document type, and domain name registrant’s document number.

• 【Domain name certificate】: A domain name certificate is used to prove the ownership of the domain name, and the domain name registrant’s name must be identical to the domain name real-name authentication name. The certificate needs to be downloaded from the domain name registrar.

• 【IP address】: The mainland IP address bound to the UCloud Global account under our company’s cloud products, that is, the mainland public network IP address used in our company after the successful domain name filing.

• 【Preliminary approval】: Those who intend to engage in internet services such as finance, news, publishing, drugs and medical devices, culture, radio, film and television programs, etc., in accordance with laws, administrative regulations and relevant national regulations, should undergo review and approval by relevant competent departments. When carrying out record filing procedures, they should also submit documents approved by relevant competent departments to the communications administration bureau of their province of residence.

• 【Subject】: The individual or unit that handles the filing, also known as the “sponsor.”

• 【Subject name】: The name of the unit or person who handles the filing, also known as the “sponsor unit name.”

• 【Subject responsible person】: The responsible person in the subject information of the filing; for unit filing, most of the administration bureaus require to fill in the legal person information; for individual filing, it must be the subject himself.

• 【ICP responsible person】: The responsible person in the ICP information of the filing, who is the main responsible person for managing this website/app. For unit filing, it must be an employee within the unit, can fill in legal person or other website construction managers within the unit; for individual filing, it must be the subject himself.

• 【Authorization letter】: When the ICP responsible person and the subject responsible person are not the same person, a document is needed from the subject responsible person (i.e. legal person) to authorize an ICP responsible person.

• 【Subject filing number】: After the first successful filing, the communications management bureau will assign a subject filing number to the filing subject. A subject can have only one unique subject filing number. If there are multiple ones, one must be canceled and retained before filing again. Common formats are as follows: Shanghai ICP Filing No. 12345678

• 【Website filing number】: According to the order of website filing under the subject, serial numbers are added in turn to distinguish different websites under the subject. Common formats are as follows: Shanghai ICP Filing No. 12345678-1, Shanghai ICP Filing No. 12345678-2.
