Notice on Access Restrictions for Non-connected but Registered Domain Names

Dear {{channelName}} users,

In accordance with Article 19 of the “Non-profit Internet Information Service Record Management Measures”, it stipulates that an Internet Access Service provider should record the registration information of the non-profit Internet Information Service providers connected to its network. That is, the domain names resolved on our Mainland China cloud products must have corresponding registration information in our system.

For domains that are already registered with other access providers but have never been registered with us (i.e., non-connected but registered domains), please head to Login to {{channelName}} Registration System as soon as possible to submit a “Access Registration” operation. If it is no longer in use with other access providers, please make sure to register in our system promptly to prevent the cessation of access and resulting registration termination by other access providers, which would affect your website’s operation.

For domains that are not connected in our registry system, we expect to implement domain access restriction measures starting from April 2022.

Please check to see if you have any domains resolved on our mainland China cloud products that are not registered with us.

To check your registration with us, you can Login to {{channelName}} Registration System. The completed registration list will provide this information.

If you do have non-connected but registered domains, please take the following measures as soon as possible:

Plan 1. Login to {{channelName}} Registration System and submit an “Access Registration” order to {{channelName}} for review, which can temporarily restore functionality. If the order remains unapproved by the administration for a long period, the domain name may still be subject to access restrictions.

Plan 2. Change the domain name resolution to a {{channelName}} cloud product outside of Mainland China.

Plan 3. Change domain name resolution to another access provider.

Please note:

1. Before submitting an access registration order, please ensure that the responsible person’s information (name, personal ID, and mobile number) registered with the original registration access provider is accurate and that the mobile number can receive SMS properly. Only if the status is available, can you submit an access registration. If the mobile number of the responsible person registered with the original registration access provider can’t receive SMS, you need to complete the change operation with the original provider first, then log in to {{channelName}} Registration System to submit access registration. Note: For detailed operations, please refer to SMS Verification Guide.

2. If your access registration order remains returned or unprocessed for a long period, your website may still be subject to access restrictions. Please check your order progress promptly and ensure the access registration process is complete.
