CLB Product Adjustment Announcement
With the update and iteration of load balancing products, the original Load Balancer ULB has now been renamed as Traditional Load Balancer CLB (Classic Load Balancer). The term Load Balancer ULB refers to the family of load balancing products.
The Load Balancer ULB product family includes: Application Load Balancer ALB (in beta), Traditional Load Balancer CLB, Network Load Balancer NLB (coming soon).
The following adjustments will be made to the request proxy type CLB, and these adjustments are expected to officially take effect on November 1, 2023.
- Quota adjustment
Type | Number of instances that can be created per project per region | Number of listeners that can be added per instance | Number of forwarding rules that can be added per instance | Number of service nodes that can be added per instance | Number of EIPs that can be bound per instance |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Request Proxy CLB | 5 | 50 | 50 | 50 | 20 |
- The request proxy type CLB will no longer support beta features (HTTP/2, redirection, data compression, security policy). Instances already using beta features will not be affected.
- CLB is a shared type instance, and maximum forwarding performance is not guaranteed. If you need guaranteed performance, you can use the Application Load Balancer ALB. View details
