Resource Package

US3 object storage service is billed by default by pay-as-you-go mode. The resource package is a prepaid discount package launched by US3 for some billing items. It is more favorable than pay-as-you-go, and can be purchased according to actual needs. After you purchase a designated resource package, US3 will deduct the quota of the resource package according to your actual usage. After the resource pack expires / is used up, it will automatically switch to pay-as-you-go. Currently, domestic regions (North China 2, North China 1, Guangzhou) support resource packages, please contact technical support if there is a need in Shanghai 2.

Charge Description

Billing instructions and deduction rules for different types of resource packages.

1. US3 resource packs only support deducting the costs generated under the current UCloud Global account and do not support cross-account deductions.
2. US3 resource packs are exclusive for US3 service, they do not support cross-product deductions.
3. US3 resource packs only support deducting the costs generated after the purchase of the resource package and do not support deducting the costs generated before the purchase of the resource package.
4. A type of resource pack can only deduct the cost generated by the corresponding billing item of the resource pack. It cannot deduct the cost of the remaining billing items.
5. US3 resource packs are region-specific and do not support being shared for use in other regions. Please choose as needed.
6. The remaining deduction amount of US3 resource pack for each period does not support being transferred to the next period.
7. After the US3 resource pack expires or is used up, the data of the storage space does not need to be migrated and will automatically switch to pay-as-you-go.
8. US3 resource packs cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts and promotions. After purchasing the resource pack, the resource pack will be used preferentially.

Purchase

1. Log in to the US3 object storage console.
2. Select Resource Pack Management in the top navigation bar and enter the resource pack management list page.
3. Click Buy Resource Pack.

4. Based on your actual business, select resource pack type, region, specifications, duration, and other parameters. After customizing the name of the resource package, click Buy Now.
5. Follow the page’s guide, after completing the purchasing process, the resource pack management page will display the corresponding resource pack information.

• The purchase discount is subject to the current discount. The longer the purchase, the greater the discount.

Explanation of some parameters in the resource package list:

1. Total: The total amount of a resource package in one cycle, that is, the specifications of the resource package; such as buying a 100GB standard storage package, the total amount is the total amount of the standard storage package per day.
2. Remaining: The standard storage pack resets the deduction amount on a daily basis and does not support viewing the remaining amount; only supports viewing the remaining deduction amount in the current period of the outbound traffic, the remaining amount of statistical data is not real-time data, with a delay of one day.
3. Effective time: The resource package takes effect immediately after successful purchase.
4. Expiration time: Each month is fixed at 31 days, which is obtained according to the effective time and the purchase duration of the resource package. For example, if you buy a one-month standard storage pack on January 10, the expiration time will be 23:59:59 on February 9.

Upgrade

Currently, only the standard storage package supports its upgrade (upgrading), but does not support downgrade (down revise). The outbound traffic package can achieve the effect of upgrade by piling up purchase.

1. Log in to the US3 object storage console.
2. Select Resource Pack Management in the top navigation bar and enter the resource pack management list page.
3. Click Upgrade on the right of the resource package.

4. On the resource package upgrade page, select the specification of the resource package you want to upgrade, then click Buy Now and follow the page guide to complete the payment process.

• The upgrade means to make up the price difference between the specification configuration before and after within the remaining validity period of the resource package. The upgrade discount is subject to the current discount.

Renewal

Valid resource packages support renewal operations before expiry. During the renewal, it does not support modifying the effective region, specifications, and type. It currently only supports manual renewal on the resource pack management page.

1. Log in to the US3 object storage console.
2. Select Resource Pack Management in the top navigation bar and enter the resource pack management list page.
3. Click Renew on the right of the resource package.
4. On the resource package renewal page, select the resource pack specification you want to renew, click Buy Now and follow the page guide to complete the payment process.

Usage Details

Supports viewing the detailed usage of resource packages on a daily basis.

1. Log in to the US3 object storage console.
2. Select Resource Pack Management in the top navigation bar and enter the resource pack management list page.
3. Click Usage Details on the right of the resource package, you can view and download the details in .csv format.

Refund Policy

Refunding of resource packages will not affect stored data. After refunding the resource package, if there is no resource package for deduction under the current account, then billing will be done on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Refund conditions:

1. Usage: The resource package has not generated any usage, i.e., it has not been used.
2. Validity period: The resource package is within its validity period.
