Billing Rules

Billing Items

The current billing items for the US3 product include data storage, external network outgoing traffic, CDN origin-pull traffic, request fees, and data retrieval.

For the specific prices of each billing item, please refer to [Product Pricing].

Billing Methods

US3 object storage service is billed post usage, with user usage statistics every hour and bills generated daily. You can go to Cost Center to view the daily bill details, with the granularity being project-based.

Details of the billing rules for each billing item are as follows.

US3 has now launched a prepaid resource pack, which is more cost-effective for some billing items than postpaid, and can be purchased according to actual needs.

Storage Capacity

Daily storage cost = average daily storage * daily storage unit price

Average daily storage = total average hourly storage throughout the day ÷ 24 hours

Outbound Internet Traffic

Daily off-peak traffic cost = daily off-peak download traffic * off-peak traffic unit price

Daily peak traffic cost = daily peak download traffic * peak traffic unit price

CDN Back-to-Source Traffic

Daily CDN back-to-source traffic cost = daily CDN back-to-source traffic * CDN back-to-source traffic unit price

Request Cost

Request cost = daily request times × unit price per 10,000 requests ÷ 10,000

Additional Notes

  1. If the overdue payment is made up within 30 days, the service will be automatically resumed. After 30 days, it will be deemed that you have voluntarily given up the US3 storage service, and the space and data deleted cannot be recovered. For details, please refer to Overdue Payment Handling.

  2. US3 has canceled the prepaid “quota package purchase” method, which does not affect users who have unused quota packages purchased previously, and they can continue to use them.

  3. For the request count fees generated by Put/Get requests calling the US3 API, the number of requests is counted regardless of whether the requests succeed or fail.
