Alarm Management

View Alarm Records

Background Information

The alarm history can display the status changes of all alarm rules within a custom time range, and you can trace back and view alarm records in a unified and convenient manner.

Operation Steps

  1. Log in to the Cloud Monitoring Console.
  2. Select Alarm Management > Alarm Records in the top navigation bar, and enter the Alarm Record List page.
  3. On the Alarm Record page, users can select the project and customize the time range, which defaults to the last 1 hour.

Create New Alarm Strategy

Background Information

Cloud Monitoring supports flexible creation of alarm policies. Users can set threshold alarms for monitoring indicators supported by cloud products and promptly notify users to take measures when abnormalities occur. The alarm policy includes five necessary components: name, policy type, alarm trigger condition, alarm object, and alarm notification configuration.

Operation Steps

  1. Log in to the Cloud Monitoring Console.
  2. Select Alarm Management > Alarm Policy in the top navigation bar, and enter the Alarm Policy List page.
  3. On the Alarm Policy page, select the project and click New to create an alarm policy.
  1. On the New Alarm Policy page, configure parameters according to the interface prompts.
  1. The configuration parameters are as follows:

  1. In the lower right corner of the New Alarm Policy page, click Submit to complete the creation of the alarm policy.

Edit Alarm Policy

Background Information

When your business changes or the alarm policy can no longer meet the current business, you can edit the alarm policy.

Operation Steps

  1. Log in to the Cloud Monitoring Console.
  2. Select Alarm Management > Alarm Policy in the top navigation bar, and enter the Alarm Policy List page.
  3. On the Alarm Policy page, select the project, select the Alarm Policy to be modified, and click Edit.
  1. On the Edit Alarm Policy page, modify the parameters according to the interface prompts.
  2. In the lower right corner of the Edit Alarm Policy page, click Submit to complete the alarm policy modification.

Disable Alarm Policy

Background Information

When your alarm policy needs to be temporarily disabled, you can disable this alarm policy on the Alarm Policy List page.

Operation Steps

  1. Log in to the Cloud Monitoring Console.
  2. Select Alarm Management > Alarm Policy in the top navigation bar, and enter the Alarm Policy List page.
  3. On the Alarm Policy page, select the project, select the alarm policy to be disabled, click More > Disable to disable the alarm policy.
  1. When you need to re-enable this alarm policy, click More > Enable to re-enable the alarm policy.

Delete Alarm Policy

Background Information

When your business changes or the alarm policy is no longer needed, you can delete the alarm policy.

Operation Steps

  1. Log in to the Cloud Monitoring Console.
  2. Select Alarm Management > Alarm Policy in the top navigation bar, and enter the Alarm Policy List page.
  3. On the Alarm Policy page, select the project, select the alarm policy to be deleted, click More > Delete to delete the alarm policy.

Create New Alarm Shield

Background Information

When users need to shield the created alarm, they can create a new alarm shield.

Operation Steps

  1. Log in to the Cloud Monitoring Console.
  2. Select Alarm Management > Alarm Shield in the top navigation bar, and enter the Alarm Shield List page.
  3. On the Alarm Shield page, select the project and click New to create an alarm shield.
  1. On the New Alarm Shield page, configure parameters according to the interface prompts.
  2. The configuration parameters are as follows:
