Creating a Resource Group

Background Information

You can manage different types of products in a unified way by creating a resource group.

Operation Steps

1. Log in to the cloud monitoring console.
2. Select Resource Group from the top navigation bar and enter the resource group list page.
3. On the resource group page, select the project and click on New to create a resource group.

4. On the Create Resource Group page, set the parameters according to the page prompts.
5. After setting the parameters, click on Confirm at the bottom right corner of the Create Resource Group page to complete the creation of the resource group.

6. The resource group list page will display the created resource groups. Click on Details to see the overview and alarm records of a resource group.

Cloning a Resource Group

Background Information

You can quickly clone a resource group from the Resource Group page using a previously created resource group based on your actual needs.

Operation Steps

1. Log in to the cloud monitoring console.
2. Select Resource Group from the top navigation bar and enter the resource group list page.
3. On the resource group page, select the resource group that needs to be modified, and click More > Clone.

4. Complete cloning of the resource group.

Editing a Resource Group

Background Information

When you need to modify the name or resources of your resource group, you can select the resource group that needs to be modified in the resource group list page and edit it.

Operation Steps

1. Log in to the cloud monitoring console.
2. Select Resource Group from the top navigation bar and enter the resource group list page.
3. On the resource group page, select the resource group that needs to be modified, and click Edit.

4. Enter the Edit Resource Group page, where you can modify the name of the resource group and the corresponding resources in the resource group. You can delete or add resources.

5. After parameter modification, click Confirm at the bottom right corner of the Edit Resource Group page to complete the resource group modification.

Deleting a Resource Group

Background Information

When a resource group is no longer needed, you can delete it from the Resource Group page.

Operation Steps

1. Log in to the cloud monitoring console.
2. Select Resource Group at the top navigation bar and go to the resource group list page.
3. On the resource group page, select the resource group that needs to be modified and click More > Delete.

4. Click Confirm to complete the deletion of the resource group.
