Create Monitoring Dashboard
Background Information
Create a monitoring dashboard to meet your different monitoring needs for the running state of cloud products.
Operating Procedure
- Log in to the cloud monitoring console.
- Select Monitoring Chart > Add Panel at the top navigation bar, then a monitoring panel is added to the page.
- Configure the parameters of the monitoring dashboard：
- Select the time range: The default is the last hour, users can customize the time range.
- Select resource type: The default is the cloud host, a single choice, displaying the list of products that have been linked to monitoring.
- Select project: A project is selected by default, for single choice, displaying the list of projects visible to the user.
- Index: Depending on the selected resource type, the index list under this type appears, by default one is selected【single choice】.
- Resource object: Depending on the resource type + project selected, the resource list under it appears, and search selection【multiple choice】is supported.
- Manual refresh: Click the manual refresh button to refresh the latest data.
- Complete the creation of the monitoring dashboard.
Deleting Monitoring Chart
Background Information
When your business changes or you need to re-plan the monitoring panel on the monitoring chart page, you can delete the monitoring panel.
Operating Procedure
- Log in to the cloud monitoring console.
- Select Monitoring Chart on the top navigation bar.
- Select the monitoring panel to be deleted and click the close button in the upper right corner.
View Monitoring Charts
Background Information
Cloud Monitoring (CloudWatch) provides customers with multiple ways to view the monitoring data of resources. Entrance 1: After the monitoring panel is added, you can view the trend chart of this monitoring index on the monitoring chart page. Entrance 2: You can find the corresponding resource in the cloud product category to which the corresponding resource belongs on the product monitoring page and view the monitoring data of the resource in the resource details.
Operating Procedure
Entrance 1: Viewing through monitoring chart
- Log in to the cloud monitoring console.
- Select Monitoring Chart > Add Panel at the top navigation bar, then a monitoring panel is added to the page.
- Configure the monitoring index parameters you need to view on the monitoring dashboard:
- Select the time range: The default is the last hour, users can customize the time range.
- Select resource type: The default is the cloud host, a single choice, presenting the list of products that have been linked to the monitoring.
- Select the project: By default, a project is selected for single choice, displaying the list of projects visible to the user.
- Indicator: Depending on the selected resource type, the indicator list under this type appears, one is selected by default【single choice】.
- Resource object: Depending on the resource type + project that is selected, the resource list under it appears, supporting search and selection【multiple choice】.
- Manual refresh: Click the manual refresh button to refresh the latest data.
- View the trend chart of this monitoring index on the monitoring chart page
Entrance 2: Viewing through product monitoring
- Log in to the cloud monitoring console.
- Choose Product Monitoring on the top navigation bar.
- On the product monitoring page, click on the target cloud product.
- On the monitoring page of the target cloud product, click on the details in the operation column corresponding to the target resource.
- View the monitoring chart of the specified resource in this cloud product on the resource details page.
