2.Certificate Type

OV: stands for organization’s certificate or institution’s certificate. OV certificates are obviously suitable for enterprises and government institutions. OV certificates not only have complete functions of encryption transmission and identity verification, but also are cheap and easy to issue.

EV: Enhanced SSL certificate, the upgraded version of the enterprise certificate. In addition to the encryption and identity verification of the original enterprise certificates, it enhances the function of anti-counterfeit websites and has a stronger function and effect.

DV: Domain name SSL certificate, which can play the basic function of information transmission encryption, and verify the basic domain name management right. CA only checks the ownership of the domain name. The application process is automatically completed by the system, so the price of DV certificate is often low, even free.

3.Certificate Name

Different certificates are displayed according to the selected certificate brand and certificate type, mainly differentiated into ordinary and professional certificates, and wildcard certificates, please choose according to your own situation.

4.Number of Domains

Except for the multi-domain certificate, only one domain is supported. Pay attention to whether it is an ordinary certificate or a wildcard certificate when purchasing.

Both wildcard certificate and multi-domain certificate support pan-domain.

5.Certificate Validity Period

Sell by year. You can choose 1 year, 2 years or 3 years. The option differs as per the type of certificate.

The certificate is a one-time purchase, and no refund or cancellation will be allowed 30 days after the certificate is issued after review though.
