Regions and Availability Zones
An availability zone is a combination of physically and electrically isolated resources. An availability zone may consist of a single data center or be designed by combining multiple data centers. With proper design, failure impact will be isolated within a single availability zone.
Several geographically close availability zones can form a region through high-speed and stable network connections. The intranet is accessible among availability zones within the same region.
Regions currently offering bare metal cloud servers include North China 1, North China 2, East China 2 (Shanghai), Guangzhou, Fujian, Hong Kong, Taipei, and London.
