Reliability

Cloud Disk (UDisk) adopts a mechanism of multiple cross-cabinet physical machine backups within an availability zone, with real-time synchronization, ensuring immunity to single-machine failures. Regular Cloud Disks guarantee a data durability of 99.99999%, while SSD Cloud Disks and RSSD Cloud Disks ensure 99.999999% data durability.

Capacity and Elasticity

Cloud Disk (UDisk) allows flexible configuration of storage capacity and on-demand expansion. Currently, RSSD Cloud Disks support a maximum capacity of 32,000G. Multiple cloud disks can be mounted on a single cloud host, enabling unlimited expansion of the cloud host’s hard disk capacity.

Usability

Cloud Disk (UDisk) supports quick operations such as creation, mounting, unmounting, deletion, and capacity expansion, facilitating the deployment and management of UDisk products without the need to restart the server.

Backup and Recovery

Cloud Disk (UDisk) supports two backup methods: manual snapshots and Data Ark.

* Manual snapshots can back up data disks and enable recovery or creation of new UDisk instances via backups. * Data Ark, while fully supporting manual snapshot functions, also offers real-time backup for cloud disks. It allows recovery or creation of new UHost instances using backups from any point in time. Enabling Data Ark for Cloud Disk (UDisk) or regularly creating snapshots is an economical and convenient way to enhance long-term data durability. In case of a Cloud Disk (UDisk) failure, you can promptly recover or create new instances using the latest snapshot or Data Ark backup.
