It is compatible with the MySQL protocol, supports horizontal scalability, and has strong consistency and high availability. UCloud Global is based on PingCAP’s TiDB, which implements the productization of TiDB in the public cloud, providing users with two forms of products. TiDB: Deploy with one click according to the user-specified node specifications, manage the cluster flexibly, and provide high-performance data that is easy to access; TiDB Serverless: Serverless high-performance database service that doesn’t require attention to the underlying resource pool, on-demand use, and easy access.
TiDB: Prepayment model, that is, payment at the time of new instance creation. Suitable for long-term needs with stable business flow, offering hourly, monthly, and annual prepayments, the longer the purchase cycle, the more cost-effective the price.
