Billing

UCloud Global TiDB offers two billing modes: prepaid/postpaid

TiDB

The prepaid TiDB provides customers with specified specification cluster services.

1. Billing rules:

The price of a TiDB instance = (Number of TiDB nodes * CPU number + Number of TiKV nodes * CPU number + Number of PD nodes * CPU number + Number of TiFlash nodes * CPU number + Number of TiCDC nodes * CPU number) * CPU unit price + 
                  (Number of TiDB nodes * Memory + Number of TiKV nodes * Memory + Number of PD nodes * Memory + Number of TiFlash nodes * Memory + Number of TiCDC nodes * Memory) * Memory unit price + 
                  (Number of TiDB nodes * Disk + Number of TiKV nodes * Disk + Number of TiFlash nodes * Disk + Number of TiCDC nodes * Disk) * Disk unit price

2. Backup

The backup feature itself is free, if the user turns on the backup feature, the backup data is stored in the user’s US3 space, and the storage cost of US3 is borne by the user.

TiDB Serverless

The postpaid TiDB provides users with serverless services and implements hourly postpaid billing.

3. Backup

The backup function itself is free. If the user turns on the backup function, the backup data is stored in the user’s US3 space, and the storage cost of US3 is borne by the user.
