Create a TiDB Cluster
- Click “Create Cluster”
- Choose node configuration
Computing specification: You can choose according to a certain CPU to memory ratio. Currently, 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 are supported.
Disk size: The smallest disk size for TiKV is 1000G, with an incremental step of 500. The smallest for TiDB is 200G, with an incremental step of 100. PD disk is not charged and does not need to be selected.
Node count: The minimum number of nodes for TiKV/PD is 3, for TiDB is 2, and the incremental step is 1.
- Network settings
Choose the VPC and subnet that the instance belongs to. The system will default to the first item in the list.
- Specify IP and port to create instance
By default, the system will automatically allocate an IP and a port for accessing the database. If the user needs to specify the IP and port, please check the “Specify IP and Port” box, and the page will add the IP and port input box. Enter the specified content in the corresponding input box.
Port range 1~65535, disabled ports: 22, 25, 111, 7002, 7041, 8080, 9100, 9115
- Management settings
You can customize the instance name for the instance, the system will default to “TiDB”. Set administrator (root) password, you can enter it yourself or click “Random Generate”.
- Inquire and purchase
View TiDB Instance Details
Enter the product homepage, select TiDB, and the instance list of the current region will be listed by default. Find the instance and click the “Details” button in the operation bar to enter the details page.
The details page on the left will display the basic information of the instance, etc., and you can renew the transaction on the left side of the page. The upper right will display the current cluster node configuration and status information, and the lower right will display monitoring information. Monitoring items include data volume, QPS, TPS, memory usage, etc.
Delete TiDB Instance
Enter the product homepage, select TiDB, and the instance list of the current region will be listed by default. Find the instance to be deleted, click the “Delete Instance” button in the operation column to enter the delete confirmation page.
