One-click Sharded Cluster

One-click Sharded Cluster

  1. In the console, select “Cloud Database MongoDB UDB (NVMe)”, click “Create Cluster” to create a MongoDB sharded cluster in one click.
  1. On the new cluster creation page, select the region and availability zone, choose “Sharded Cluster” as the cluster type, and select basic configurations such as: computer specifications, disk, database version, number of shards, number of nodes per shard, number of Mongos nodes, and payment method. The system will calculate the cost based on your selections, and the cost of the shard set will be displayed on the right side of the page.

On the new page, you can select the VPC and subnet to which the sharded cluster belongs to in the network settings, as well as manage the instance name and administrator password. The default administrator username is root. For data security reasons, the administrator password needs to be complex.

  1. After confirming all selections and amounts, click the Confirm button to proceed to the order payment page.
  • Confirm Payment: Perform deductions, resource allocation, and initialization operations.
  1. After the payment is completed, the page will return to the MongoDB instance management page. The MongoDB instance will be initialized, and once the initialization is complete, it can be used. The MongoDB instance management page lists all the information about the MongoDB instance, including the instance name, attributes, IP address, configuration, status, operation, etc.
  1. After selecting a specific MongoDB instance, click its name or details to go to its secondary detail page. On the detail page, you can view instance information, monitor data, and perform common database management operations.
