Security Group

Security Group

The NVMe MongoDB instances support security group functionality. When a user account activates the security group feature and creates a cluster in a region that supports security groups, the cluster will automatically join the default security group. The default security group defines rules that allow all traffic, and all MongoDB clusters within a UVPC share this default security group. After the cluster is successfully created, users can modify the default security group to meet their requirements. If users need multiple security groups, they can create new ones and add the corresponding clusters to these new security groups to implement custom access control.

Default matters:

  • Expansion and reduction: The expanded nodes will automatically join the security group currently bound to the cluster.
