Parameter Template Management
The parameter template is an important component required to start a MongoDB instance, which includes relevant parameter templates. All MongoDB instances must use specific parameter templates. Ucloud provides default parameter templates, and these default parameter templates cannot be modified.
Create Parameter Template
In addition to the default parameter templates provided by the system, users can also create parameter templates so that the MongoDB instances they apply to can use that template.
Click the “Create” button at the top of the “User Parameter Template”, select “Cluster Type” and “Database Version” in the pop-up input box, select “Refer to Parameter Template” to decide which existing template to copy, fill in the “Parameter Template Name”, and click OK to complete the creation.
The user-created parameter templates support deletion and editing. You can set each parameter item according to your own needs.
After finishing the settings, you can use this self-customized template to create a cluster when creating a cluster.
View Parameter Template
Select a specific parameter template in the parameter template list. In the “Operation” column, click “Details” to view all its current parameter items.
Edit Parameter Template
In the parameter template detail page, click “Edit” to modify the parameter values.
After the modification is completed, click save to finish.
Note:
The default parameter template is not editable. If users need to modify the default parameter template, they can use the default parameter template to create a new parameter template. After successful creation, they can modify the customization of the new parameter template.
Delete Parameter Template
Parameter templates support deletion. In the parameter template list page, select the parameter template to delete and click ‘delete’ to complete the deletion operation.
Note:
The default parameter templates cannot be deleted.
