Group Management

User Groups

User groups group sub-users with similar responsibilities or same permissions together, authorizing them as a whole, thereby managing IAM sub-users more efficiently.

  • When the functional scope of the entire user group changes, just modify the group’s authorization;
  • When the permission scope of individual users changes, e.g., job transfer, new members join, just move them out / into the user group;

Creating User Groups

The User Group Name represents the unique identifier for this user group under the cloud service account, which cannot be duplicated.

Authorize User Groups

Choose the permission policy to be bound to the user group and the effective range of this policy. As shown in the figure, this user group has super administrator authority under the default project. The financial center permission and access control permission are global policies and do not need to specify the effective range.

Add Members to User Groups

Choose sub-users to join the user group, and the members of the group automatically obtain the permissions bound to the user group.

Deleting User Groups

Deleting a user group will automatically remove all members of the group.

View User Group Details

Manage the specific permissions and member information of the user group through the details page, including adding, removing, and viewing.
