Billing Overview
Billing Items
Users can choose different billing modes for each EIP in the account. Currently, all regions can provide standard bandwidth, traffic billing, and shared bandwidth billing modes. Different billing methods are used for different scenarios. Users can choose the appropriate billing mode according to the business scenario.
Billing Method | Payment Type | Billing Rules | Fees Collected | Applicable Scenarios |
---|---|---|---|---|
Standard Bandwidth | Prepaid | It is charged according to the fixed bandwidth. The public network IP address is free of charge, and there is no traffic fee. | Bandwidth cost | Applicable to scenarios where traffic peaks are relatively stable. |
Traffic Billing | Postpaid | It is charged according to the traffic consumed by the outbound bandwidth. The settlement is made at 0:00 every day, and there is no bandwidth fee. | Traffic cost + public IP address cost | Applicable to scenarios where traffic peaks fluctuate greatly. |
Shared Bandwidth | Prepaid | Multiple IPs share the bandwidth, and the bandwidth fee and the fee for the public network IP address are charged separately. After enabling the shared bandwidth billing mode, the billing for the public network bandwidth and public network IP address resources that the user has previously purchased will be stopped. The remaining amount will be refunded to the user’s account, and the new resources will be priced again. | Shared bandwidth cost + public IP address cost | Applicable to large-scale business scenarios where EIPs within the shared bandwidth can form traffic off-peak periods. |
