Cloud Connect Cross-Border Dedicated Line (hereinafter referred to as cross-border business) is a cross-border data product launched by UCloud Global and China Unicom for corporate customers, with the cross-border dedicated line is operated by Shanghai Unicom, and the data connection service is provided to you through UCloud Global‘s sales channels.
2、Is UCloud Global the operator of the cross-border business?
No, the operator of the cross-border business is China Unicom. The services purchased by users through UCloud Global are provided by China Unicom.
3、Why do we need to submit a compliance application for Unicom cross-border business?
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China’s Decree No. 42 and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Letter [2017] No. 32 and other national and local laws and administrative regulations, China Unicom is responsible for uniformly establishing user files for the related cross-border business. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: when accepting business for users, it should require users to provide real identity information and check it. China Unicom will accurately register the type of certificate and the name (name), number, and address information recorded on the certificate. If the user refuses to show an effective certificate, refuses to provide the identity information recorded on the certificate, uses someone else’s certificate, or uses a forged or altered certificate, China Unicom will not accept business for him. 4、What documents are required for cross-border business application? How to submit?
The real identity information to be provided by the user includes:
- Organization code certificate.
- Business license.
- Legal person certificate of an institution, or legal person registration certificate of a social organization.
- Other valid documents or proof documents stipulated by laws, administrative regulations, and national regulations.
- In addition to showing one of the above certificates, you should also show the valid certificate of the handler and the authorization letter of the unit.
5、Application and approval duration?
You can submit relevant application materials online at any time, and the general approval time is 1~3 working days.
Product Usage Questions
1、Can multiple bandwidth packages be purchased between two regions?
No, only one bandwidth package can be purchased between two regions at most. A bandwidth package must and can only be bound to one cloud connect instance;
2、Can the default quota parameters of the cloud connect instance be adjusted? How is it charged?
The default quota parameters of the cloud connect instance can be adjusted by submitting a work order or contacting the account manager; Currently, quota adjustments are free of charge;
3、Can a cross-border bandwidth package be purchased if the “Cross-Border Dedicated Line Information Compliance Check” registration is not passed? If the registration qualification expires, will it affect current business?
If the initial “Cross-Border Dedicated Line Information Compliance Check” registration is not passed, not only can you not purchase the cross-border bandwidth package, but you also cannot get the default bandwidth package of 5kbps given by the system for free; Expiry of registration qualification will not affect current business, and you can also normally purchase cross-border bandwidth packages;
