Quick Start
- Select “Cloud Database PostgreSQL UDB” in the console, and click “Create”.
- On the instance creation page, select the database type, CPU memory ratio, computing specification, disk capacity, database version and other instance configuration information. When creating a PostgreSQL instance, the default configuration file will be used. If there are special needs, users can upload a custom configuration file.
- Set up VPC and subnet
- Set the database name, port number, and admin password. The default port number for PostgreSQL is 5432, and the default admin username is root. For data security, the admin password requires a certain level of complexity. On the right side of the creation page, you can choose the payment method, and the system will calculate the cost based on the selection. The right side of the page will display the amount to be paid.
- Finally, confirm your choices and the amount, click the confirm button, and then go to the order payment page.
Click “Pay Now” to purchase the instance
- After the payment is completed, the page will redirect back to the PostgreSQL instance management page. The PostgreSQL instance will be initialized, and can be used after the initialization is complete.
