Backup Management

In the “Details” page of the instance, switch to the “Backup Management” tab to manage the backups.

Backup Methods

There are two types of backups: automatic backup and manual backup.

Automatic Backup

Automatic backup is performed once a week from 0:00 to 1:00 by default.

The backup data keeps the latest 7 versions, with a maximum retention period of 30 days. If you need to keep the backup data for longer, please download and save it yourself.

Manual Backup

PostGreSQL supports manual backup. Users can save important data backups at some key time points. When creating a manual backup, users only need to enter the name of the backup, and the backend will start the backup process immediately.

Manual backup are allowed to keep the latest 3 copies. If the number exceeds 3, the earliest manual backup will be automatically deleted. The backup data has a maximum retention period of 30 days. If you need to keep the backup data for a longer period, please download and save it yourself.

Modify Automatic Backup Strategy

On the “Backup Management” home page, click the “Automatic Backup Strategy” button to open the automatic backup strategy modification window.

Click Confirm after modifications.

Backup Download

Users can download the backup files generated by automatic backup and manual backup.

Open the Backup Management home page, and the currently available backup list will be displayed by default.

Select the corresponding backup, click Download, and a download box will pop up for downloading.

By default, only internal network download links are displayed. If you need an external network download link, click “Other addresses”.

The default validity period for the download link is 4 hours. If you need a longer download time, you can adjust the validity period for the download link yourself, with a maximum of 7 days.
