Product Features
The main features of the PathX product include: Acceleration Configuration and Acceleration Routes.
Acceleration Configuration
- Origin Type: The IP or domain name that requires acceleration, either of which can be selected. To flexibly expand the scale of the origin server, it is recommended to enter a domain name.
- Multi-port Acceleration: One acceleration configuration can simultaneously accelerate and forward multiple ports of the origin.
- Multi-protocol Acceleration: Supports TCP, UDP Layer 4 forwarding, and HTTP, HTTPS, WS, WSS Layer 7 forwarding. Using TCP can support scenarios such as HTTP, HTTPS, HTTP2, and Websockets; using UDP can support QUIC protocol, chat rooms, and other applications.
- Acceleration Configuration: Configure the origin server to be accelerated (IP/domain name), support multiple business ports, specify the location of the origin, and choose the purchased acceleration routes.
Acceleration Routes
- Origin Location: The region where the business server is located.
- Acceleration Region: The region that needs to be covered by the business (distant from the origin location). For example, if the origin is in the United States and needs to cover users in China, the acceleration region would be China.
- Acceleration Route: Refers to the route instance between the acceleration region and the origin location. One acceleration route can be bound to multiple acceleration configurations (origin locations being the same).
- Multi-region Acceleration: If there are multiple regions needing acceleration, multiple acceleration routes can be bound on one acceleration configuration without changing the configuration.
