step3 Create Migration Task
Migration Configuration
Parameter Name | Description |
---|---|
Transmission Rate Limit | By default, it is 100Mbps if not filled in, the internal network/dedicated line is 1000Mbps |
Reserved Execution | Whether to schedule automatic task startup, open on demand |
Time Setting | The time point for automatically starting the task |
Whether Incremental is Enabled | Enable: After the full amount is completed, regularly initiate the increment and manually create the target host; Closed: After the full amount is completed, the target host is automatically created |
Incremental Frequency | The time interval for initiating increments, which may lead to no windows for manually creating target hosts if it is too small (5 - 10080) |
Host Configuration
Parameter Name | Description |
---|---|
Target Region Availability Zone | Select the available zone you want to migrate to |
Target VPC and Subnet | The VPC segment of the target machine |
Target Machine Type | Currently only supports O Series Host |
Target CPU Platform | Default to Intel/Cascadelake, users can adjust to AMD platform as needed |
Password | Password for the target machine, please ensure the password complies with the UCloud Global cloud host password complexity |
Public Elastic IP | If you choose to transfer via the public network, you must bind an EIP, which can be charged for bandwidth/traffic, or shared bandwidth |
Internal IP | Optionally keep consistent with the source machine, or manually adjust/automatically obtain |
The modification of the password on the target end corresponds to the ubuntu user in the Ubuntu system, and the administrator user in the Windows system
If the internal network IP is checked consistently, please make sure that the internal network IP of the source machine is within the target VPC and subnet segment. You can pre-create the appropriate VPC and subnet in the console
In the case of internal network/dedicated line transmission, it is impossible to keep the internal network ip consistent. You can specify other IPs, and then add a virtual network card after migration
Source Host Information
The console will display the configuration of the source machine, including the intranet IP, CPU/Memory, and system disk/data disk size.
USMC will use these to create target hosts, please confirm, if there are any change requirements, you can create tasks through api, or change the specifications of the target cloud host after migration
The USMC agent is the internal network IP obtained from the source host’s default route, which may not be accurate. Except for the need to keep the internal network IP consistent, it can be ignored
Purchase
Please confirm the above parameters again. Once the USMC task is created, it no longer supports manual changes on the console
The price here is only for display reminder, clicking the Pay Now button will not actually charge
