Cluster Creation

First, log in and go to the UKafka page of the console, click on [Create Cluster], and enter the UKafka cluster configuration information page.

Select Available Zone

Basic Configuration

Select version, maximum message retention time, disk management mode, and disk usage threshold.

1. The version number corresponds to the open source version number, unless there is a special requirement, it is recommended that you choose the latest version.
2. The maximum message retention time is the Kafka server configuration log.retention.hours, after the cluster is created you can modify it in the parameter configuration.
3. For disk management mode, refer to: disk limit configuration.

Select Machine Type

Choose disk type, node machine type, disk size, node quantity

1. When selecting the node type, the CPU and memory are inconsistent for different types, and you can choose as needed according to the business requirements. For machine type list, refer to: machine type list.
2. The disk size is the data disk amount of a single node.
3. The smallest scale of the cluster requires at least 3 nodes, and you can expand the nodes in the console according to the growth of business in the future, refer to: node expansion.

Configure Network

Select VPC, subnet

Configure Cluster Name, Business Group

Specify the cluster name, business group

Select Payment Method and Pay

The default payment method of the system is pay-as-you-go, the default time is one hour of purchase. The system also supports three payment methods: monthly payment, annual payment, and hourly payment. All three are prepaid, and the system will deduct the cost of the next stage in advance. Click on [Buy Now] to complete the payment, return to the console page, and you can see the newly purchased UKafka cluster information in the list.
