Product Overview

UPFS (UCloud Global Parallel File System) is a high-performance parallel file system independently developed by UCloud Global, aiming to meet the high demands for data access speed, scalability, and reliability.

UPFS features innovative design in metadata management and data storage engine, achieving a maximum throughput of TB per second, tens of millions of IOPS capability while also ensuring sub-millisecond latency. This makes UPFS an ideal choice for fields such as artificial intelligence and image processing, autonomous driving, electronic design automation simulation, and computer graphics rendering.

As a storage solution tailored for enterprise-level applications, UPFS incorporates advanced technologies like SPDK (Storage Performance Development Kit) and RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) for efficient data management and processing.

UPFS adopts a flexible distributed design, achieving parallel storage and access of data through collaboration among nodes and data slicing technology, effectively improving the read and write throughput of the system. Meanwhile, its support for IB/RoCE network enables UPFS to achieve low-latency data transmission in high-speed network environments, providing users with an ultimate access experience.

UPFS also supports multiple file access protocols including POSIX, NFS, and SMB, to provide users with efficient and reliable file storage services.
