Monitoring of Clusters and Cluster Nodes

UES enabled monitoring relative performance for clusters and nodes, viewable via the dashboard in cluster details.

Alert Configuration

On the console, open the UMon Monitoring product panel page (Availability Zone needs to be the same as UES). For Alert Template, choose Create Template (since UES doesn’t have a default alert template, you’ll need to create a custom one)

Create two custom alert templates; a cluster monitoring item alert (ES cluster) and a node monitoring alert item (ES cluster node), or create only the needed templates based on requirements.

After successful creation, you can see your custom UES alert templates in the list.

Taking nodes as an example, edit the alert rule in the template.

Here, you have the option to add rules that are identical to monitoring indices. After adding rules, you can set alert thresholds, trigger cycles, convergence policies, notification objects, etc. for each alert item.

After setting up the template, you can apply the alert template to the cluster node resources in Resource Monitoring.

Confirm and the resources have been successfully added to alerts!
