Advanced Data Analysis

The advanced analytical capabilities of MAXIR AI aim to help you gain deep insights into complex datasets, offer analytical insights, recommend statistical methods, and automate data visualization. Key capabilities include:

  • Data Interpretation: Interpret complex numbers or metrics, analyze trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Data Visualization: Automatically generate visual charts (such as line charts, histograms, pie charts, etc.) based on analysis results and provide a summary interpretation of the charts.
  • Interpretable Analysis Process: Show the analysis steps and logic in detail, making the reasoning process behind each step transparent, helping you understand the logic behind the analysis and ensuring the results are trustworthy.

Product Operation Steps

  1. Log in to MAXIR AI. In the dialog box at the bottom, click “Add File”.
  1. In the pop-up dialog, select the dataset for data analysis.

    a. If you want to use an existing dataset, select “Existing Dataset”.

    b. If you want to use a new file for analysis, select “A New Dataset” and complete the file upload. You can upload up to 10 files at a time. If you need to upload more than 10 files, please upload them in batches to the same dataset.

  1. After the file upload is complete, input your questions in the generated chat dialog. You can also find questions of interest in the “Dataset Exploration” area at the bottom right.

After the dataset is uploaded, MAXIR AI will automatically generate a data summary and relevant questions based on the content, helping you better understand the data and start your data exploration journey.

AI Data Analysis Agents

Besides directly analyzing datasets, MAXIR AI offers multiple AI Data Analysis Agents to help you quickly complete related data analyses and processing:

  • Data Visualization: Visualize data exploration, helping you easily identify trends, insights, and hidden patterns.
  • Data Cleaning: Remove duplicate data from tables with one click, quickly completing data cleaning.
  • Trend Forecasting: Based on uploaded data, uncover deep insights and predict future trends.

  1. Once logged into MAXIR AI, find “Data Visualization” in the Data Agents section on the homepage, and click the “Start” button.
  1. On the popped-up page, follow the workflow prompts on the right, upload files, select the desired chart type, and click “Execute”.

Data Cleaning

  1. Once logged into MAXIR AI, find “Data Cleaner” in the Data Agents section on the homepage, and click the “Start” button.
  1. Follow the workflow prompts on the right, upload files, and then click “Execute”.

Trend Forecasting

  1. Once logged into MAXIR AI, find “Trend Forecasting” in the Data Agents section on the homepage, and click the “Start” button.
  1. Follow the workflow prompts on the right, upload files, and then click “Execute”.

Dataset Management

Datasets are collections of multiple data sources. MAXIR AI supports various types of data sources, including but not limited to Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Markdown, Excel, TXT, web pages, SQL databases, etc.

By using datasets, you can manage these data sources effectively and link them to your chats for relevant Q&A and data analysis at the dataset granularity.

Create a Dataset

  1. Log in to MAXIR AI.
  2. In the left navigation bar, select “Datasets” On the opened page, click ”+ Dataset”.
  1. Set the dataset name and description and click “Continue”
  2. Add data sources to complete the dataset creation.

To ensure the best user experience, MAXIR AI recommends the following when uploading data:

* <font style="background-color:rgb(225,234,255);">For structured data like CSV, TSV, Excel, etc., the file size should not exceed 1 GB per upload.</font> * <font style="background-color:rgb(225,234,255);">For unstructured data like PDF, Word, PPT, etc., the file size should not exceed 100 MB per upload.</font>

Q&A with Datasets

Method 1:

  1. On the “Datasets” page, find the target dataset.
  2. Move the data to the top right of the dataset and click the “Start Chat” button.
  1. Begin chatting with your dataset in the opened chat dialog.

Method 2:

  1. Open a chat session window.
  2. In the “Related Dataset” section at the top right, click “Select Existing Dataset”.
  1. Select the target dataset, complete the association, and then start chatting with your dataset in the dialog box below.

Delete a Dataset

For datasets that are no longer needed, you can delete them. Once deleted, the data of this dataset will immediately free up the workspace it occupied.

Once a dataset is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please proceed with caution.

  1. On the “Datasets” page, find the target dataset.
  2. Move the mouse to the top right of the target dataset card, click the “More” button, and select “Delete”.

Manage Data Sources

On the details page of the dataset, you can manage the details of the data sources under this dataset.

  1. On the “Datasets” page, find the target dataset and click it to enter the details page.
  2. On the default “Data Sources” tab, view all data source information within the dataset.

Data source information description:

Field NameDescription
NameThe name of the data source, including its file extension.
TypeThe type of the data source.
Supported types include: Excel, CSV, TSV, Markdown, PDF, JSON, Word, URL, Text, etc.
SizeThe size of storage resources occupied by the data source and the number of chunks.
Last SyncThe last synchronization time.
StatusThe status of the data source, possible values are:
* Synced: The data source has been synced and is available.
* Syncing: The data source is syncing or waiting to sync and is temporarily unavailable.
* Sync Failed: The data source sync failed and is unavailable. To continue using this data source, it needs to be re-uploaded.
  1. To add a new data source, click the ”+ Data Source” button at the top right of the list.
