Product Overview
Basic Concepts
Mainland High Defense provides DDoS attack protection for the origin IP (including elastic public IPs not from {{channelName}}).
Mainland High Defense proxies the origin IP through the high-defense IP, facing the user, both playing a protective role and ensuring that the origin IP is not directly exposed.
- Origin IP: The external IP used by the origin server, also the protected IP address
- High Defense IP: Corresponds one-to-one with the origin IP, used to replace the origin IP to face the user, so that the origin IP is not directly exposed
- Back-to-source IP: It is a set of IP addresses that the high-defense data center communicates with the origin server on behalf of the user (the high-defense data center will randomly convert the user’s IP into a certain back-to-source IP, and this back-to-source IP replaces the user IP to communicate with the origin server)
- High Defense Line:
Different lines represent different lines where the data center is located. No matter whether the attack is from Telecom, Unicom or any line from the Education Network, it can be diverted to the high-defense data center for cleaning. The difference lies in that normal access will be faster if it is on the same line, for example, normal access is on the Telecom line, passing through Telecom high defense, the delay will be smaller than passing through Unicom high defense.
Use Cases
Applicable customers: All customers who need network security protection. (The equipment can be not on {{channelName}})
When the user is attacked by a hacker through a DDoS attack, they can adopt high-defense services to withstand the attack, filter out malicious access requests, and allow normal requests to smoothly access the website or game. When the hacker finds it hard to attack, they naturally will back down.
