Configuration Changes/Upgrades and Downgrades

Configuration Change/Upgrade or Downgrade

You can upgrade or downgrade resources according to your actual needs when using {{channelName}} products, with Host as an example.

The rules for refunds or additional payments in configuration change operations are explained as follows:

The expiration time of the product remains unchanged after the configuration change operation, and the refund or additional payment amount is calculated based on the remaining service period. The value of the remaining period of the original service minus the value of the same period of the new configuration. If it is greater than 0, the remaining amount will be returned to your account after the configuration change. If it is less than 0, you need to pay the corresponding amount of fees to pay for the configuration change order.

Example 1: You purchased a specified configuration Host for 30 days, worth 120 yuan. After 10 days of use, you need to upgrade to a new configuration Host, a new configuration Host for 30 days, worth 240 yuan.

The amount you need to pay for the configuration change = value of the new configuration × (remaining time ÷ original service duration) - value of the original configuration × (remaining time ÷ original service time) = 240 yuan × (20 days ÷ 30 days) - 120 yuan × (20 days ÷ 30 days) = 80 yuan

Example 2: You purchased a specified configuration Host for 30 days, valued at 240 yuan. After 10 days of use, you need to downgrade to a new configuration Host, a new configuration Host for 30 days, worth 120 yuan.

The amount of configuration change refundable to you = original configuration value × (remaining time ÷ original service duration) - new configuration value × (remaining time ÷ original service time) = 240 yuan × (20 days ÷ 30 days) - 120 yuan × (20 days ÷ 30 days) = 80 yuan
