Pay-As-You-Go
The Network DialTest provides a pay-as-you-go billing option (post-paid), charging based on the actual number of dialtests used.
Billing Rule | Description |
---|---|
Applicable Scenarios | Short-term or Temporary Needs: If you need to conduct network quality tests temporarily, or require measurement services only during a specific period, pay-as-you-go is more flexible and convenient.Inconsistent Budget or Unstable Business: During the early stages of business or new product launches, where usage estimation is challenging or budgets are inconsistent, pay-as-you-go allows you to pay based on actual usage. |
Billing Cycle | Billed daily. The total number of dialtest from scheduled dialtest tasks for the day will generate an order the next day.Note: If you have purchased a dialtest times resource package, it will be used preferentially for deduction. Once the resource package expires/is exhausted, it will automatically switch to pay-as-you-go. |
Billing Formula | Daily dialtest cost = total number of dialtests from all tasks for the day * price per time |
Billing Example | If there are no available dialing resources under your account, and you created a scheduled dialing test — a single probe task — on May 20, 2024, with a total of 10 probe sources and a probe frequency of 5 minutes, the total number of probes for the task running throughout the day would be: 60 minutes ÷ 5 minutes × 24 hours × 10 probe sources = 2880 times.Note: This example is for reference only. The bill will be calculated based on the actual number of probes generated by the task. Please refer to the bill generated in the console for the final amount. |
DialTest Resource Package
The dialtest resource package offers a pre-paid billing option, allowing you to purchase based on your needs.
Applicable Scenarios: If your business scenario is stable and requires long-term network dialtest purchasing a resource package is more economical. The per-dialtest price of a resource package is cheaper than pay-as-you-go pricing, saving costs for long-term use.
Resource Package Deduction Rules
The rules for deducting the number of dialtest times from the resource package are specifically shown in the following table.
Rule | Description |
---|---|
Validity Period | The validity period of a resource package is 1 year. If unused before expiry, it will automatically expire. |
Effective Time | The resource package takes effect immediately after purchase. |
Deduction Time | Deducted daily. The total number of dialtests from scheduled dialtest tasks for the day will be deducted at the next day’s billing. |
Deduction Strategy | Deducted on a 1:1 ratio, meaning 1 dialtest is deducted from the resource package for every 1 dialtest performed. |
Deduction Order | Resource packages support stacked purchases. If you have multiple packages, the deduction order is based on the earliest expiry date. Once all quotas of the package are deducted, any excess will be billed at the pay-as-you-go rate. |
