Resource Pool List

In the console, select Private Zone -> Resource Pool Management. Enter the resource pool list page to display all resource pools. Some field definitions are as follows:

Serial Number: This serial number corresponds to the unique physical machine in the UCloud Global data center.

CPU, Memory, Disk: Trace and remaining resources of CPU/Memory/Disk in this resource pool. (Including the system disk and data disk of the zone host will consume disk resources)

View Resource Pool Host

Select the “View Host” option of the corresponding resource pool to view all hosts under that resource pool. If you need to view all private zone hosts or perform operations, you need to select Private Zone -> Host Management in the console to enter the host list page.

Resource Pool Application

This feature is not yet available in the console, please contact our technical support to assist you in completing this application.

Change Resource Pool Configuration

This feature is not yet available in the console, please contact our technical support to assist you in completing this application.

Delete Resource Pool

Select the resource pool you wish to delete. Select the delete button in the upper left corner of the panel to execute the delete operation.

Note that you must delete all hosts on the resource pool before you can delete the resource pool.

Private Zone Host List

In the console, select Private Zone -> Host Management. Enter the private zone host list page to display all hosts. The display columns are completely consistent with the ordinary host list, except for the absence of billing method and expiration time information (because private zone hosts are not billed, the lifecycle is consistent with the resource pool).

Create Zone Cloud Host

The process is basically the same as creating an ordinary host. But please pay attention to the following points:

  1. Based on the remaining CPU, memory, and disk condition of all resource pools in the entire private zone, the system will calculate in real-time whether the current configuration and quantity you choose can be met. If it cannot be met, you can reduce the configuration, reduce the number of applications, or upgrade/purchase more resource pools to meet the needs.

  2. The created private zone host will be automatically assigned to the most optimal resource pool according to the allocation algorithm of UCloud Global.

  3. Currently does not support market images and self-made images created from market images.

  4. Zone hosts only support standard models and currently do not support features such as Data Ark, hot upgrade, and network enhancement. Only local disk storage is supported, not cloud disk storage.

Upgrade/Downgrade Zone Cloud Host

The process is basically the same as changing the configuration of an ordinary host. But due to limitations of the remaining CPU, memory, and disk in the resource pool where the zone is located, it may be impossible to upgrade to certain configurations.

Other Operations for Zone Cloud Hosts

Other operations are completely consistent with ordinary cloud hosts. Please refer to the Cloud Host User Guide.
