Resource Pool List

In the console, select Private Zone > Resource Pool Management to enter the resource pool list page, which displays all resource pools. The explanations for some fields are as follows:

Serial Number: The serial number corresponds to the unique physical machine in the XXXCloud data center.

CPU, Memory, Disk: The total and remaining resources of CPU/memory/disk in this resource pool. (Both the system disks and data disks of zone hosts will consume disk resources.)

View Resource Pool Hosts

Select the “Host View” option for the corresponding resource pool to view all hosts under the resource pool. To view all private zone hosts or perform operations, go to the console, select Private Zone > Host Management to enter the host list page.

Resource Pool Application

This function is temporarily not available on the console. Please contact our technical support for assistance with the application.

Change Resource Pool Configuration

This function is temporarily not available on the console. Please contact our technical support for assistance with the application.

Delete Resource Pools

Select the resource pool to be deleted. Click the “Delete” button in the upper-left corner of the panel to execute the deletion operation.

Note: The resource pool can only be deleted after all hosts on it are removed.

Private Zone Host List

In the console, select Private Zone > Host Management to enter the host list page, which displays all hosts. The display columns are identical to the ordinary host list, except that billing methods and expiration time information are excluded (since private zone hosts are non-billable, and their lifecycle aligns with the resource pool).

Create Zone Cloud Hosts

The process is basically the same as creating an ordinary host. But please pay attention to the following points:

  1. The system will dynamically calculate whether the selected configuration and quantity can be satisfied based on the remaining CPU, memory, and disk resources across all resource pools in the UDSet. If insufficient resources are available, you can reduce the configuration, decrease the application quantity, or upgrade/purchase more resource pools to meet the requirements.

  2. The created private zone host will be automatically assigned to the most suitable resource pool according to the allocation algorithm of XXXCloud.

  3. Market images and custom images derived from market images are currently not supported.

  4. Zone hosts only support standard models and currently do not support features such as Data Ark, hot upgrade, and network enhancement. Only local disk storage is supported, not cloud disk storage.

Private Zone Cloud Host Upgrade/Downgrade

The process is basically the same as changing the configuration of an ordinary host. But due to limitations of the remaining CPU, memory, and disk in the resource pool where the private zone is located, it may be impossible to upgrade to certain configurations.

Other Operations for Private Zone Cloud Hosts

Other operations are completely consistent with ordinary cloud hosts. Please refer to the Cloud Host User Guide.
