Instance Management

After the creation of the new instance, the console provides functions for managing SQL Server instances, backup strategy, and monitoring.

General Management Operations

The console supports operations for SQL Server instances, including restarting, starting, shutting down, modifying the instance name and remarks, changing the business group, deleting, and renewing. To restart an instance, simply click on “Restart” to access the restart popup.

If you need to shut down the instance, click Shut Down to enter the shutdown pop-up.

Backup Management

The console provides functions for setting backup strategy for the SQL Server instance, supports manual backup, and backup download, etc.;

Auto backup console supports users to modify auto backup time autonomously, as the following backup strategy settings:

The data to be backed up and the recovery mode of the current library are related:

Simple recovery mode: Only back up data files, do not back up transaction logs

Full recovery mode: Back up data files and transaction logs

Monitoring Management

Click on instance details, you can see the conditions of various monitoring items of the instance in the details page.
