FAQ
What is the difference between off-peak shared traffic packages and all-time shared traffic packages?
The effective time of the off-peak traffic package is 00:00-08:00 in the region where the resources are located. The all-time traffic package is effective from 00:00-24:00 in the region where the resources are located. The traffic unit price of the off-peak traffic package is more preferential.
Will the use of shared traffic packages affect the peak bandwidth of EIP?
The use of shared traffic packages will not affect the peak bandwidth of EIP.
How often is the remaining amount of shared traffic packages updated?
The balance of shared traffic packages is calculated and deducted every hour, and the balance information in the console is updated every hour. Please plan your resources wisely.
What should I do after purchasing a shared traffic package?
Ensure that there is a traffic billing type EIP in this region. The shared traffic package takes effect immediately after purchase, no other operations are needed, and traffic deduction is automatically carried out.
Which EIP-generated traffic consumption can the shared traffic packages deduct?
After purchasing the traffic package, it automatically deducts the traffic consumption generated by all the traffic billing EIPs in the region.
What is the order of deduction if there are multiple shared traffic packages?
During the off-peak period, the off-peak traffic package will be deducted first. When there are multiple effective traffic packages of the same type, the traffic package that expires first will be deducted first.
Can the resource configuration be modified after purchasing a shared traffic package?
No changes can be made to the resource configuration after purchasing a shared traffic package.
Can I renew my subscription after a shared traffic package is exhausted?
No renewal is supported. After all shared traffic packages in this region are invalid, the traffic-billed EIP will revert to postpaid traffic billing. The price of postpaid traffic = excess traffic * postpaid traffic unit price.
