  • Automatic creation of free virtual machines

When CloudShell starts, it will automatically create a virtual machine for your exclusive use, and different sessions of the same account will share a virtual machine. The virtual machines of different accounts are isolated from each other to ensure security.

  • Permanent File Storage

CloudShell can mount US3 storage bucket to /data directory for permanent storage of files, avoiding the loss of files with the destruction of virtual machines. When mounting, you can choose to mount the existing storage space, or you can authorize Cloud Shell to help you create a new storage space and mount it, according to the billing rules, when the storage data is less than 20GB, free of charge, please refer to the documentation for detailed billing rules.

  • Preinstalled commands

    • Toolchain products: CLI , Terraform (ready to use, no need to configure account information).
    • Programming languages: golang, python, java, nodejs
    • Commonly used Linux commands: git, vim, curl, ssh, etc.

  • Limitations on use

    • No more than 5 sessions can be opened per account at the same time.
    • These sessions share the same virtual machine.
